Russian Equipment For India.— An agreement between the Soviet Union and India for the supply of turbo drilling equipment has been signed. The U.S.S.R. will supply drilling rigs designed for forced turbine and rotary drilling for oil and gas prospecting up to depths of 16,000 feet. The equipment is costing India £1,155,000. — New Delhi.
