Benny Hooper, aged 7, who was trapped last week for nearly 24 hours in a narrow well at his home on Lond Island, New York, may be removed from his oxygen tent today. A hospital spokesman said the boy’s temperature was normal. “The doctors will remove the tent some time today if his temperature stays down,” he said. Benny fell into the 24ft well on Thursday evening and was rescued on Friday evening. He developed “pneumonia.”
