Badminton Ranking Matches
Challengers on the CanterbunBadminton Association’s ladder have been especially active so far this season. This is due to the change in policy for selection of the represenative teams, which will this season be chosen strictly according to the ladder. Sixteen challenge matches have been played so far, and the new ladder positions are:—Men: R Macefield I, R. Pattinson 2, A. Duckmanton 3, D Reid 4, G. Fiebig 5. B. Crofts 6, E. Harrington 7, G Burton 8, K. Gerrard ), Chiam See Tong 10. J. Beatty 11. W. Muncaster 12. Women: B. Webster 1, A. Snow 2, G. Hopkinson 3, W. Wall 4, E Hopkinson 5, D. Hall 6, A Kelleher 7, M. Benjamin 8, B. Allen 9.
