M.C.C. Collapses Before Worrell (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, May 21. Frank Worrell, the West Indies allrounder, took six M.C.C. wickets for 71 in the match at Lord’s today, which ended in a draw. Worrell’s fine left-arm, medium pace bowling brought about an M.C.C. collapse before lunch. From the overnight position of 169 for two, M.C.C. slumped to be all out for 284, in reply to West Indies’ 337 for six declared. By the close of play West Indies had scored 193 for three wickets in! their second innings, finishing 246 ahead. Brian Close, 108 not but overnight, I was unable to continue this morning . because of a bruised foot. The loss of Close was keenly felt by M.C.C., particularly when Wor-I rell took the new ball at 220 and ■ claimed five wickets in 13.3 overs ati a personal cost of 22. M.C.C. lost its last six wickets In' 50 minutes for a gain of only 40 runs. Bruce Pairaudeau, opening with Nyron Asgarali, made a brisk starting with 10 in the one over bowled by Frank Tyson before lunch. In all, Pairaudeau hit 10 boundaries. Tyson, although faster than in the first innings, was very Inaccurate, I conceding 40 runs in his opening ■ spell of six overs for the wicket of, Asgarali, who snicked a catch to the! wicket-keeper.
