TRADE TALKS END
Report Being Drafted (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, May 21 The New Zealand trade mission has concluded its talks with the British Government. It is understood that a joint communique is now being drafted, and together with a statement embodying points agreed on and comment by Mr K. J. Holyoake. may be released for simultaneous publication in London and Wellington on Friday. Mr Holyoake has delayed his departure from London for New Zealand by air from tomorrow to May 26. Messrs J. D. Ormond, chairman of the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board, J. H. Parker, chairman of the New Zealand Apple and Pear Marketing Board, and W. Marshall, chairman of the New Zealand Dairy Products Marketing Commission, who arrived in London last week, have begun talks with the New Zealand Conference Lines on freight rates.
