N.Z. Vainers Meet Officers

(New Zealand Press Association) PALM. NORTH. May 3.

Mr V. W. Cox. of Napier, was elected president of the New Zealand Institute of Valuers which concluded its annual conference in Palmerston North today. The vice-presidents are Messrs G. C. R. Green (Dunedin) and J. W. ’Gellatly (Wellington). The immediate past president is Mr R. J. McLachlan, of Wellington. The following executive committee was elected:—Messrs B. Brown (convener?, J. Harcourt, E. J. Babe, J. W. Gellat’y and M. Jones (all of Wellington).

English League. Newport County beat Aidershot 3-0 in a third division (Southern) English League match at Newport to-night. It was the only English League fixture of the day.— London, May 2.
