The weather cleared today and the outlook is a good deai more promising than it was earlier in the week for the opening day of the Wairarapa Racing Club’s autumn meeting at Tauherenikau tomorrow. What rain has fallen has improved the track, which was very firm, and the going should be ideal. Pictavla Nigger. Monogram Man o’ Mars, which are acceptors for this meeting, will race at heuaing. Sonloch (Tuhitarata Highweight) and Royal Velvet (Queen Elizabeth Handicap) are doubtful starters. The double is on the Queen Elizabeth Handicap and ’.he Martinborougn Handicap.
