The respective classes of electors entitled to vote and the number of candidates for whom each class is entitled to vote are as follows: Parliamentary Roll: One Candidate. Canterbury District Court of Convocation Roll: Two Candidates. Canterbury Teachers’ Electoral Roll: One Candidate. Canterbury School Committees’ Electoral Roll: One Candidate. The total number of candidates to be elected is FIVE. NOMINATIONS CLOSE with the Returning Officer. Canterbury University College, at NOON on Monday, May 13, 1957.
