HOLT KNOCKS OUT CARLO MARCHINI
(Rec. 8 p.m.) BRISBANE, April 19. Mike Holt, of South Africa, the world middle-weight contender, knocked out Carlo Marchini, a former Australian middle-weight champion, in the second round of their fight at the Brisbane Stadium last night. This was Holt’s iouth straight win in Australia in four fights. He beat Bill Beazley, of New Zealand. Marchihi could find no counter to Holt's heavy, accurate punching.
