Master Now Living Near Takaka ‘‘The Press" Special Service WELLINGTON, April 17. Joseph Wallace, aged 12, of Puramahoi, near Takaka, is keeping his fingers crossed. This week he hopes to receive word that Tim, a three-year-old crossbred fox terrier, has arrived in New Zealand from England. In February Joseph left his home in York with his mother to fly to New Zealand. Tearfully he left Tim behind in an R.S.P.C.A. lost-dogs’ home because it Would have cost more than £lOO to bring him to New Zealand. A partly blind boy, Trevor Henderson, heard about Tim ana looked after him at his home at Boroughbridge, York, till wellwishers in York and the makers of a popular brand of dog food in London subscribed the money to send the deg to New Zealand Tim left London in the Gloucester on March 14 and is expected at Wellington on Friday. However, Joseph Wallace may have to wait till next Wednesday to claim his pet, because no ships sail for Nelson till Tuesday evening. The Takaka boy plans to come to Nelson to meet Tim when he arrives there.
