HOUSE PLAN SERVICE
State’s Scheme Amended (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON. March 3. The Government’s low-cost house plan service has been re-j vised to give a better selection of the type of houses most in demand, said the Minister of Housing (Mr D. J. Eyre). A choice of 28 plans had been offered by the service, which wasi set up on the recommendation of i the National Housing Council, said the Minister. Since 1954. more than 1000 sets had been sold to intending home-builders, who received first-class drawings and i specifications for £5. . i “The new service offers al choice of 14 improved plans.”! said Mr Eyre. A new booklet on i home ownership had also been! released.
