N.Z. Certificate For “Baby Doll” (From Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON, January 17. Cuts of open-mouthed kissing and other scenes have been made in the controversial Tennesee « Williams film “Baby Doll” by the J New Zealand film censor (Mt Gordon Mirams), whose decision . is listed today in the film register. . It is understood that the makers. Warner Brothers, will not ‘ appeal against his decision. Mr Mirams has released the film for New Zealand showings 1 on the same conditions as it { passed the British censor—with c objectionable scenes deleted and subject to a restricted certificate. ■ making it an offence for persons 1 under 16 to see it. j
