CHILD POISONED
DRANK FROM BOTTLE
FOUND ON FARM (New Zealand Press Association) TIMARU, January 6. A child died in the Waimate Hospital this afternoon as a result of poisoning. He was Andre Corne’ius Bootsma, aged three years. It is believed the child drank from a bottle found on a farm in the Waimate district where his mother is employed. The bottle contained a liquid which has not yet been identified. The child was rushed to the hospital where he received immediate treatment.
