LIFE SAVING
EVENTS AT SEA SCOUTS’ CAMP
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, January 6. Results of junior and senior lifesaving events held today at the Dominion sea scout camp and regatta at Paremata, conducted with the assistance of officers of the Royal Life-Saving Society, were:— Junior (boys 11-15 years).—Calliope troop (Auckland) and Anderson’s Bay troop (Dunedin) (equal) 1, St. David’s troop (Auckland) 3. Senior (boys 15-18 years).—Tainui troop (Gisborne) 1, Lake Rotorua troop (Rotorua), Calliope troop (Auckland), St. Aidan’s troop (Auckland) (equal) 2. The camp will continue with rowing events tomorrow, followed by swimming and sailing contests later in the week.
