BOY PRESUMED DROWNED
(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, December 18. A 13-year-old boy is presumed to have been drowned when he fell from a tree into the Waipa river at Ngaruawahia shortly before midday yesterday. He was rhillip Maurice Gee, son of Mr and Mrs E. E. Gee, of Ngaruawahia. The boy had been swimming with a number of other children. Late tonight. the body had not been recovered.
