Establishment In ■ Waikato director to make OVERSEAS TOUR (Hew Zealand Press Association) HAMILTON. December 23. Yhe chairman of the New Zealand lest Industry Research Institute (Sir JJjter Mulholland) yesterday said that mezt research institute would be -tablished in the Hamilton area. Most careful consideration had been rven to alternative sites, as some of sese had worth-while attributes, he ajd. but from all points of view, the faikato site promised to be the most stable for the establishment of a Jadern research centre. The director of the institute (Dr. N. » Law) will leave for a tour overlate next March. He will visit Lgt research institutes in Canada, gg United States. Britain, Europe, jad Australia. It is expected that key staff will be before Dr. Law’s departure.
