BRYNDWR SCOUT TROOP
OPENING OF NEW DEN A new den for senior scouts of the Bryndwr Boy Scout Troop was openen on Saturday evening by Sir Joseph Ward, the Provincial Commissioner. V The den is in Westholme street. It was built in two and a half years by nine senior scouts, under the guidance of their leaders. The senior troop will use the den exclusively. A colourful camp-fire blanket, given by a former scout, has been hung on one wall. It consists of scout badges, scarves, and jamboree pennants sewn on to a scarlet rug. At the opening ceremony, badges were presented to several scouts ana the keys of the den were handed to the three patrol leaders. Mr N. Shaw, chairman of the group committee, and Trevor Gray, a patrol leader, welcomed the guests.
