HOARDINGS
Sir, —May I congratulate you on your leading article on the hoarding erected on Parapet Rock. It must be a strong pointer to public opinion when it is apparently necessary for the firm concerned to seek police assistance to safeguard this sign. Surely the people responsible must realise by now the poor light in which this hoarding is held, and I sincerely hope that they see fit to reconsider their decision not to have it removed. I hope your appeal doesn’t fall on deaf ears.—Yours, etc., SKIER. December 18, 1956.
