The first day of the Gore Trotting Club’s summer meeting tomorrow will mark the opening of the Southland holiday circuit with the second day on Wednesday. Although the weather has been unsetled, it has had no effect on the Gore track, which will provide a firm racing surface. The double will be on the Gore Cup and the Members’ Handicap.
