ISRAELIS IN GAZA
AMMAN. December 20. Jordan will urge Egypt. Syria, and Saudi Arabia not to allow repairs to the Suez Canal and the oil pipelines until Israel has evacuated the Gaza Strip and two islands in the Gulf of Aqaba, the Prime Minister (Mr Suleivan Nabulsi) said today. Mr Nabulsi added in a statement that Notes to this effect would be sent either today or tomorrow to the three countries. ~ x . Mr Nabulsi added that these three Arab neighbours should consider it their duty to give financial aid to Jordan. He said that as soon as alternative Arab aid is obtained, the Jordan Government will immediately take steps to abrogate the 1941 Anglo-Jordanian Treaty.
