OLYMPIC YACHTSMEN
WELCOMED HOME The two New Zealand Olympic yachting gold medallists, Peter Mander and Jack Cropp, were welcomed home at an official function in the Christchurch Yacht Club’s clubhouse on Monday evening. Each was presented with a silver tea service by Mr W. H. Beanland, president of the Canterbury Yachting Association and the Christchurch Club. Mander and Cropp briefly replied tc> the addresses of welcome and congratulations extended to them.
