Monte Carlo Rally Cancelled.— The 1957 Monte Carlo motoring rally, due to be held from January 22 to January 29. has been cancelled because of the present petrol situation, the organisers announced today. The rally is Europe’s top-ranking motor event, recognised as one of the sternest tests of touring cars.—Monte Carlo, December 15.
