TOUR OF NORTHERN SOUTH ISLAND
The Canterbury representative selectors (Messrs I. B. Cromb, F. Dennis, and E. A. Gasson) have chosen the following players to play matches at Blenheim. Nelson, and Greymouth. The team will leave Christchurch on Thursday. December 27. returning on Saturday, January 6. The players are:—R. T. Hunt, captain and nanager (Old Collegians), J. Ackland. W. E. Muncaster, W. Bell, B. Pankhurst (Riccarton), G. G. Coull (St. Albans), B. A. Bolton, D. J. Reid (High School Old Boys), R. Copp, B. Irving, A. G. Duckmanton (Lancaster Park), T. Jones, P. Oakes (East Christchurch), A. M. Pearce (Sydenham). Any player not available is requested to ring the secretary (Mr I. A. Baxter), telephone 48-184. immediately.
