ABOLITION OF BUILDING CONTROLS “GRATIFYING”
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, December 12. “The Government is to be congratulated on its decision to abolish all building controls,” said Mr Donald Pool, president of the Associated Chambers of Commerce of New Zealand, in a statement today. “Unsatisfied demand is now gratifyingly released, and commerce and industry can look to making up its lost leeway,” he said.
