CAREER GUIDANCE APPRECIATED
PRESENTATION TO MISS C. ROBINSON
Eleven young women, who were placed in their present position in the same dressmaking workroom by the Christchurch Vocational Guidance Centre, called on Miss C. Robinson, senior woman vocational guidance officer yesterday morning and presented her with a sheaf of flowers. Making the presentation on behalf of her workmates. Miss Glenice Ward thanked Miss Robinson for helping the girls to find suitable employment, and wished her happiness in retirement.
Miss Robinson told the girls that they were actually partners in vocational guidance, for when they pleased their employers, the employers were then satisfied with the work of the Vocational Guidance Centre. Miss Robinson will retire from office on December 24.
