THIEVES TAKE £2000 FROM HOUSE
(Neiv Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND. November 18. Thieves who entered the home of Mr and Mrs B. K. Soljan. in Lincoln road. Henderson, on Friday took £2OOO —their life savings. “I feel just terrible,” said Mrs Soljan yesterday. “We have worked here for 30 long, hard years. We saved, and Idnged for a rest.” Mr and Mrs Soljan said on Friday when they returned home last night they found two rooms of their home completely ransacked, and the money taken from a drawer in a tallboy.
