FETTLE WINS GOLD CUP

(New Zealand Press Assoctntion) HAMILTON, Nov. 18. The first day of the Waikato Racing Club’s spring meeting was held at Te Rapa on Saturday, in cloudy weather. There was a large crowd, and the track was in good order. The feature race, the £3OOO Waikato Gold Cup. of two miles, was won by ■ Fettle. Belle Rosa completed the double, the combination paying £1671 7s 6d for £l. The totalisator on-course handled £105,536.
