REVISED MEDICAL DICTIONARY
WORK OF DR. H. MESSENGER
Dr Harry Messenger, of Harvard University, who recently revised, from a philological point of view. Dorland’s Medical Dictionary of 1700 pages—yet to be published—was well qualified for the task. He is both a Ph.D. and an M.D. of Harvard and although he has practised as a doctor for 20 years, he has always been a student of the classics and language. Dr. Messenger and Mrs Messenger arrived in Christchurch yesterday by the steamer express, after Tossing from San Francisco in the Marioosa. and will spend four months holiday here. Mrs Messenger has two sisters in Christchurch: Mrs Nils Friberg, of 22 Carlton Mill road, and Mrs Arthur Brown, of Kaiapoi.
