MELBOURNE PRICES FIRMER

The improvement in values on closing sales at other centres earlier this week continued at the Melbourne wool sales today, the Melbourne Wool Selling Brokers reported. Buoyant conditions prevailed throughout, with Japan, the United Kingdom, and the Continent all competing strongly. Local buyers gave good support. Crossbreds were Lilly firm on yesterday’s values.
