WOMEN’S SECTION OF AIR FORCE
FORMATION OF BLUE BERET CLUB
An increase in membership is recorded in the report of the women s section of the Christchurch branch of the New Zealand Air Force Associa tion presented at the annual meeting recently.
During the year members helped with the sorting of clothes for CORSO A letter was received from the Aged People’s Welfare Council committee thanking members for their offer to help make curtains for Langford House.
It was decided to form a new club, to be called the Blue Beret Club, and the following officers were elected:— Patroness. Lady Clark-Hall; president. Mrs M. Williamson; secretary-trea-surer, Mrs N. Bruce: vice-president. Mrs P. Thurston; committee, Mrs H. Horsfall. Mrs Z Lennon, Mrs J. Morton, Mrs V. Macdonnell. Mrs M. Ran dall. and Miss J. Weir. Mrs Williamsn was elected ar honorary life member in appreciation of her work in the past.
