Ulanova Meets Her Idol—Greta Garbo
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 7 p.m.) LONDON. October 18. Galina Ulanova, prima ballerina of the Moscow Bolshoi Theatre Ballet Company, tonight met in London the woman she admires more than any other—Greta Garbo. The 46-year-old dancer and the 50-year-old actress were brought together in the London home of Cecil Beaton, the photographer. The meeting was a complete surprise to Madam Ulanova, who thought she was visiting Mr Beaton's studio to be photographed.
