EXCLUSION OF WATER POLO SIDE COURT ACTION PROPOSED fAiew Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, October 14. A lawyer’s letter, seeking a solution to the dispute over selection of the New Zealand Olympic Games team has been sent by the executive of the New Zealand Water Polo Board to the secretary of the Olympic Games Association in Wellington. This was announced in Hamilton tonight by Mr A. R. Griffiths, chairman of the Waikato protest '’ommittee.
The letter was sent after the receipt of information in Hamilton that a further meeting of the Olympic Games Association’s executive would be held in Wellington on Tuesday evening. The lawyer says in his letter that he has been asked to prepare a case for submission to the Supreme Court, and it is his intention to do so. The purpose of this Court action will be to seek a mandatory injunction directing the Olympic Games Council how to act in the matter of the wfiter polo team’s exclusion.
