CASHMERE HIGH SCHOOL LANDSCAPING.—Trees and shrubs were planted by pupils of the new Cashmere High School in the grounds of the school yesterday. This commercial class, with their teacher (Miss J. R. Wallace) and the headmaster (Mr T. H. McCombs), lined the main drive from Rose street with scarlet oaks. Throughout the day other classes filled other borders and specimen plots with flowering cherries, paper birches, phebalium, and Irish yews. Extensive shrubberies are also planned.
