WEED CONTROL CONFERENCE OFFEERS
(New Zealand Press Association) TIMARU. July 5. Mr P. S. Ferens, of New Plymouth, was elected president at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Weed Control Conference in Timaru tonight. Other officers elected were: vice-president, Mr J. E. Bell (Auckland); secretary, Mr L. J. Matthews (Wellington); committee, Messrs J. N Fitzgerald (Dunedin), F. Collins (Hastings), P. B. Lynch (Wellington), E. C. S. Little (Wellington), F. C. Allen (Christchurch), and C. E. Iverson (Lincoln).
