RAIN FALLS IN LAKE CATCHMENTS
There were light falls of snow al the Hermitage. Mount Cook, and at Lilybank, at the head of Lake Tekapo in the 24 hours to 9 a.m. yesterday. A four degree frost was recorded at Lake Tekapo. During the period lake storage dropped from 94.170.00'3 units to 93.810.00 units. Conditions varied from south-wesi and overcast to calm and clear. At the Hermitage and at Lilybank there were two inches of snow, and rainfall in other areas varied from 0.63 m at Lake Coleridge to 0.12 in at Waipon.
