TRANSPORT TO STUD AT PLEASANT POINT Eregli of Harviestoun. an Aberdeen Angus bull bought in Scotland for 7500 guineas, passed through Christchurch ! yesterday on the last stage of his trip i from Scotland to South Canterbury. The purchaser of this bull—-highest-priced ever to come to New Zealand—was Mr Robert Fraser, nf Pleasant Point. Mr Fraser took delivery of the bull at Addington yesterday. and conveyed him by lorry to his South Canterbury stud Mr Fraser bought Eregli of toun at the Perth sales in Scotland last February Although the bull has been in New Zealand for some time. ] he had to under a period of quarantine in the North Island before coming south. Accompanying the bull wa.< lan imported Aberdeen Angus heifer I destined for Mr Alan Grant's stud at > Wai mate. Shipring arrangements for these cattle had been made by Messrs DalI gety and Company, Ltd.
