Escapers Remanded.—Charged with escaping from lawful custody at Rotorua on July 2, William James Rawhiti, aged 22. and lahau Kira Hemopo, aged 18 appeared before Mr A. W. Yortt. S.M., in the New Plymouth Magistrate's Court yesterday morning. They were remanded to appear at Rotorua on July 9. —(P.A.)
