NUMBERING SHOW PIGS
It was indicated to the annual conference of the New Zealand Pig Breeders’ Association at Palmerston North recently that an interesting experiment was now being carried on in which pigs comin r out to be judged at shows were numbered for the information of the public. It was stated that merit attached to the idea and that it would be interesting to see how the suggestion worked in practice. The method is being employed at this week’s national show and sale of stud pigs at Palmerston North and appears to be meeting with general approval.
