GOOD ENTRIES FOR MAIN RACES

Hit Parade is a notable entrant for the Grand National Steeplechase and Grand National Hurdles this year. He won the Great Northern Steeple-chase-Hurdles double at Ellerslie earlier this month, and it was announced then that he would be specially prepared for the big races at Riccarton. Cogitation, whose retirement was announced soon after he won the Grand National Hurdles two years ago, has again been entered for that race.
