POSITIONS OF TEAMS IN COMPETITIONS
The Canterbury Indoor Bowls Association’s rinks competition for the Bradley Cup was played recently. After two days’ play the position of the teams is:—
Lyttelton Watersiders. 24 points: Arawa C. Post and Telegraph. Riccarton B, Spreydon C. 21; A raw'd A. Christchurch Working Men’s Club A. Halswell C. Railway C. Somerfield B. South Brighton A. Star of St. Albans. 18; Christchurch Workingmen’s Club B, Halswell A, Lands and Survey. Pioneer A. Railway B. Riccarton A, Somerfield C 2, Spreydon B, St. Teresa B. 15.
The leading teams in each section of the Hay trophy competition, at the end of five rounds, are:—
Section A.—Veterans. 47 points; Lyttelton Watersiders. 47. South Brighton. 45; A. and N.Z. Bank. 44; Lichfield. 39; Sydenham. 38.
Section B—Somerfield, 49 points; Fletcher Holdings, 48; Spreydon. 45; St Hildas. 43; Customs. 42; kaiapoi R.S.A., 30.
Section C.—Arawa. 46 points; Railwav 44; Post and Telegraph. 41; Deplab. 38; Atlas, 35; Apex, 34; Riccarton, 34.
