WIDE DISCUSSION
Farmers will have an opportunity of discussing "any problem affecting the industry” at a meeting which will be held in Christchurch on the afternoon of July 4 to give the New Zealand Wool Board an opportunity of meeting wool growers and farmers. The board is holding the meeting in Christchurch in accordance with its policy of holding one meeting each year outside Wellington.
Austria’s cattle population rose by about 20.000 head in the year ended December last, to a total of 2.324.366. However, this figure was still below the pre-war total of 2,578,804 recorded in December, 1938.
