USE OF ATOMIC BOMBS
Sir, —Concerning atom bomb tests, the time is long overdue when these destructive forces to the human wellbeing and to the safety of all lands should be prohibited by a universal law. The militarists and scientists’ desire to witness a “big bank” has passed the stage of reason and correct human behaviour. After the recent incident in Australia, people are justified in taking the matter into their own hands by prohibiting any further tests. Enough damage has already been done with the releasing of atomic and hydrogen bombs.—Yours, etc., ACT NOW. June 22. 1956.
