YOUNG FARMERS’ TOURNAMENT
SEVEN-A-SIDE MATCHES The senior competition in the annual Beven-a-side Rugby tournament of the Christchurch District Committee of Young Farmers' Clubs, played at St. Andrew’s College on Wednesday, was won by Waihora. The Ladbrooks Cup was presented to the winning team by Mr W. R. Lobb, of the Department of Agriculture. Other teams competing in the tournament were St. Andrew’s College, St Fede's College, the Christchurch Boys’ High School. Gisborne. Darfield. LadLrooks. Sheffield, and Springston. Final results were:— Senior: Waihora beat Sheffield. 8-3. Intermediate: Waihora beat Ladbrooks. 13-3. Junior: St. Andrew’s College beat St. Bede’s College, 6-0. Light-weight: St. Bwie’s CoUege beat Boys’ High Schoo£
