MR NASH’S GOLDEN WEDDING
LABOUR PARTY TO GIVE BANQUET (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 12. A banquet will be tendered to the Leader of the Opposition (Mr Nash) and Mrs Nash on Friday night in honour of their golden .wedding on Saturday It will be given by the Labour Party at Lower Hutt. Mr and Mrs Nash will leave the banquet to receive 24 debutantes comling out that night at the Wellington Labour ball in the Town Hall. Mr and Mrs Nash will hold a family celebration dinner at their house in Lower Hutt. Nine adults will sit round the large family dining table, and the seven grandchildren • will have their celebration dinner in the lounge next door. At a large reception next Tuesday in Wellington Mr and Mrs Nash will entertain many friends. On the Wednesday they will entertain two groups of old people at a celebration in Lower Hutt. Mr and Mrs Nash will receive debutantes at the Lower Hutt Labour Party ball on the following Friday, and the following week Mr Nash will go to Auckland to officiate in a similar capacity at the Labour ball there.
