COUNTY CLERKS ELECT OFFICERS

Officers of the New Zealand Institute of County Clerks were elected as follows at the annual conference today:—president, Mr J. C. D. Mackley • Masterton); vice-presidents, Messrs C. Cannington •Marlborough), C. Fretchling •Taranaki), W. J. O’Connell (Wel-lington-Hawke’s Bay). W. F. Knudson • Nelson-Marlborough-West Coast), A. G. Foreman (Canterbury), J. A. R. Walker <Otago-Southland); secretary Mr E. Morland Fox (Tauranga); treasurer, Mr L. E. Smith (Auckland); auditor, Mr N. I. Neilsen (Palmerston North); representatives of the New Zealand Institute of Local Bodv Officers, Messrs J. C. D. Mackley (Masterton). F. H. Hudson (Levin), J. D. U. Walker (Patea), A. G. Foreman (Akaroa). In addition, Messrs F. H Hudson (Levin), H. C. Gimblett (Southland), and L. J. Collins (Waimate), were appointed to the executive.
