STUDY BY CABINET SUBCOMMITTEE (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 12.

Some progress had been made in the discussions held already on plans for a Cook Strait ferry service, but the stage had not yet been reached when firm decisions could be made, said the Minister of Finance (Mr J.
