SPRINGS-ELLESMERE BRANCH
The report presented at the annual meeting of the Springs-Ellesmere branch of the Plunket Society showed a successful year for the branch and its sub-branches.
The nurse’s report showed an increase in the number of babies under supervision and attendances of children at pre-school clinics. A new car had been purchased during the year. The following officers were elected, president, Mrs W. R. Howson (Brookside); vice-presidents, Mesdames H. H. Heslop and C. Spinks; secretary, Mrs R. M. Cridge; treasurer, Mr A. G. Ny; auditor, Mr V. G. Mason; men’s advisory committee, Dr. I. W. Weston, Mr J. A. Scott and one other member to be elected; committee, Mrs J. Ryan, Mrs Pitts, Mrs Doyle and Mrs K. A. Hopper and the president and secretary of each sub-branch.
