PROPOSED RABBIT BOARD Recently the Department of Agriculture circularised the farmers of the district with a view to forming a rabbit board in Malvern and surrounding counties. Having followed the Christchurch Hunt Club pack for a number of years and hunting over a large area Of the Malvern County (about 40,000 acres). 1 am in a position to know most of the county. So far this season I have seen no more than three rabits °y e r this area, so am rather amazed at the survey the department has made suggesting the necessity of a rabbit board.—Yours, etc., _ G. R.
