NELSON, June 11. The Showdown-Adoration doubles combination returned £l5 17s 6d for £1 on the final day of the Nelson Trotting Club’s winter meeting today. The meeting was held in fine, overcast weather. The track was heavy. Totalisator investments amounted to £23,216, compared with £17,882 last year. The total for the two days was £47,806, compared with £37,814. Results:—
