MIDDLETON .74669 d in the £. 4 FURTHER NOTICE IS GIVEN pursuant to the provisions of the “Counties Act, 1920,” the “Public Health Act. 1920,” the "Hospital Act, 1926,” the “Rating Act, 1925,” that at the expiration of fourteen (14) days from the date of this notice, it is the intention of the Waimairi County Council to make and levy Separate Rates, Sanitation Fees and Rates on behalf of other Local Authorities as follows: (a) Under Section 123 of the "ConntieAct, 1920,” a uniform annual fee of £2 13s 3d in respect of each pan contained in closets and privies upon such properties within the Styx, Marshland, Belfast, Harewood, Papanui, Wairarana and Middleton Ridings that have a house or houses erected thereon’ and are liable for such fee. (b) Under the provisions of the “Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926,” special rates to provide for the annual charges on the following loans:— 1. North Papanui Channelling Redemption Loan—l-40d in the £ on the capital value; 2. North Beach Roading Redemption Loan—l-10d in the £ on the capital value. 3. Bryndwr Channelling Redempton Loan—l-100d in the £ on the capital value. (c) A rate for Hospital Purposes of one fiftieth penny (l-50d) in the £ on the capital rateable value of all the rateable property in the County of Waimairi, and such other rates as are fixed and levied by Special Resolution of the following Local Authorities:— Christchurch Drainage Board Christchurch Transport Board North Canterbury Catchment Board, including the Waimakariri River Trust Rates. (d) Under the provisions of Section 95 of the “Municipal Corporations Act, 1954,” the "Rating Act, 1925.” Section 31 o f the “Finance Act, 1922,” Water Rates as follows: 1. U on all ’an- s ami uildings in the County to which water is supplied: (a) where the annual rateable va u- i n-'p not e' d £l2 10s. a rate of ONE POUND (£1); (b) where the annual rateable value exceeds £l2 10s, a rate of TWO POUNDS (£2) per centum on such value, provided that in no case shall the rate for ordinary, supply be less than ONE POUND (£1) per annum. 2. Upo“> all lands and bu’ldings in the County to which water can be but is not supplied, situated within 100 yards from any part of the waterworks, a rate of ONE POUND (£1) per centum on the annual rateable value as described in (1.) supra.
